As promised, here is the finished cover poster for a short indie documentary on Indian surfing. It took a little while for the producers to launch it. nevertheless, its finally out!

Legend of Bullett Raja- 'Raja ki Dare-devilary'

Another latest chapter in the series is online on Facebook. Uploading it here now for you guys. The boring layout in this one was originally adapted to suit FB format and posts sizes. Quite short deadlines also did not allow time for enough detailing. Had to skip a lot of things.  But the new chapters will hopefully be improved with much better layout. Thanks for watching.

 After months of work, and slogging our asses over a few weekends as well, finally, the proud moment is here! The Comic book series for an upcoming bollywood gangster thriller movie, 'BULLETT RAJA' starring Safi Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, which i worked on as an illustrator as part of the the creative agency, 'Glitch Media', has finally been launched on 21st Nov evening! The comicbook however, is not for sale and has only been given away to the fans and people during the event. But you can read the chapters online on Bullett Raja's Facebook page. Cheers!

Speed Paint Attempt #2

It didn't turn out any better than the first. But felt good to paint, no matter. The lighting was specially tricky. Almost ate all of my 30 minute, before i could understand it. It doesn't look anything like the reference though.

It has been a long time since i did this. First of my speed paint learning from reference. 30 minutes felt so short for the first time. Got over even before i could get a hang of it. Nevertheless. This is what we got. Don't feel right to leave this in the dump my work. Better get it out somewhere.

Final colored version without copy. Did some changes in the illustration for the final draft. The kid was supposed to be a teenager unlike in the original penciling. Corrected that. Have fun watching!

new entry # Sketch and Inking

 Since i don't have the liberty of time here, i can't really sit and experiment with the style and manner of work. But even being so, i try to test as many different methods as i can while keeping the deadlines. The earlier page did not go so well on inking part. So i decided to give it little more effort this time. Learning through the traditional trial and error method [field experience]. I don't know how much i will be able to capture these silhouette when it gets converted into color, but it still builds a solid foundation for the next step. Thanks Marcos Mateu-Mestre You are the master of this art!

Recent WIP # comics

 And the first step to sequential art begins. Layout to final page. This is from a current project i am working on. My first ever fully colored comics page! This didn't turn out as good as my dreams however. But nevertheless, "the journey to one thousand miles begins with a first step". But meanwhile, keep watching.
